Kataang: A Modern Story 7 Sokka, Aang and Katara were riding in the car on the way home. Katara and Sokka were singing to a song on the radio. Aang sat in the back seat with his head resting against the window. He was extremely grateful that he felt safe enough to let his guard down. Those few days he was in the tree house were brutal. The whole time he was afraid to climb down the ladder in fear that his uncle would discover that he was still around. He only left for small increments of time in order to use the bathroom.
